01

Who is responsible for your data

The Faculty of Brands, a subsidiary of Kyzen E S P A (Pvt) Ltd, based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is responsible for the personal information described here. For any privacy matter, write to hello@tfob.lk.

02

Information you give us

We collect only what we need to run our services:

  • Registrations: name, email address, phone number, organisation and role.
  • Enquiries: the details you type into our contact form or send by email or WhatsApp.
  • Newsletter and community: name and contact details for the channel you join.
  • Payments: billing details needed to process a transaction. Card numbers are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
  • Sessions: notes, worksheets or questions you choose to share during a workshop.
03

Information collected automatically

Our website records basic, aggregated analytics such as pages viewed, approximate location by country, referring source, and device or browser type. This helps us understand what content is useful. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not use third-party ad trackers.

04

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • manage registrations, payments and subscriptions;
  • deliver the sessions, recordings and materials you signed up for;
  • respond to your enquiries;
  • send updates you have opted into;
  • improve our programmes based on feedback; and
  • meet our accounting and legal obligations.
05

Communications and consent

Marketing emails and community invitations are sent only with your consent, and every email carries an unsubscribe link. You can leave the WhatsApp community at any time. Service messages about something you have booked, such as joining links, materials and schedule changes, are sent as part of delivering that service.

06

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent they need it: payment processing, email delivery, video conferencing, podcast hosting, scheduling and cloud storage.

Facilitators receive a participant list for the session they are teaching. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the safety of participants.

07

International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside Sri Lanka. Where that happens, we choose established providers and rely on their contractual data protection commitments.

08

How long we keep it

Registration and enquiry records are kept while your relationship with us is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Financial records are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Session photography and recordings are kept in our archive unless you ask us to remove your likeness.

09

Security

Access to personal information is limited to team members who need it, held in access-controlled systems, and protected by reasonable technical and organisational measures. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach ever affected your data, we would tell you promptly.

10

Your rights

At any time you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
  • correct anything inaccurate;
  • delete information we no longer need to keep;
  • stop sending you marketing; or
  • restrict how we use your information.

Write to hello@tfob.lk and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the relevant data protection authority.

11

Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the site work and simple analytics cookies to understand usage. You can block or clear cookies in your browser; essential cookies are needed for parts of the site to function properly.

12

Children

Our programmes are designed for working professionals and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

13

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will notify you directly.
